Inspired by our original 3” x 0.5” sculpture, this hand-molded and hand-painted piece carries a bold and unmistakable attitude. With a powerful gesture in his left hand, the BEHIQUE delivers a clear message of defiance meant for colonizers everywhere. It’s a conversation-starter and a meaningful piece for anyone connected to Taíno culture and traditions.
Like all of our creations, this amulet is crafted with clay, finished with matte acrylic paint, and strung on a 20” waxed cord necklace.
